I've been wanting to try them. A few friends of mine smoke them socially like cigars and have many cigar flavors I tried it and was amazed. I smoke infrequently probably one pipe tobacco cigar every other day, so I'm not sure if switching would be worth getting set up on them.. It would undoubtedly be healthier and I'd have many more options for flavors but those who do it often complain about the prices in Canada.

What are the prices like in Canada? You could always just bring back enough to last you 5-6 months while you are in the states.

I'm not sure really I never priced it but from what my friends were saying the cigar oils were over the price of a pack of cigars by a lot. When I get back I'll put some research into it.

If that is the case you may want to look into prices here as well and load up when you return.

While making your own fluid is a bit more than the beginner level, I can say, by buying the components in bulk, I am saving a huge amount. 20mL of fluid cost me about $4.50 which is roughly about a carton of cigs in my usage (usage varies per person per liquid per eCig system).

Where do you get your supplies? I mean, I love what I'm getting now but I pay over $2 for 5ml, which is still a steal, but I'm always for something cheaper.

I hit a bunch of sites to see who has the best deal when I need to get more. (Gonna need to get more flavorings soon...) eBay is good for Base, but don't get your nicotine from there (go with a known dealer for nicotine, as some eBay sellers have been shown to not be too accurate with their strengths.... and nicotine in high concentration can be deadly.) choiceecig.com is good, and where I get my nicotine (100mg/mL goes a long way when diluted into your PG/VG bases). Flavorings from all over. You can even find VG and PG at your local stores if you know what you're looking for (pharmacy, Walmart, beauty supplies like Sally's, in the skin care for VG, PG at to a feed store. Just make sure it's marked USP.) This thread is pretty nice over at e-cigarette-forum.com

Is it the automatic (cartridge) style or manual (the kind you fill with "juice")? What flavors did you get? Have you tried it, and if so what do you think? I just got a few new flavors in myself...ones in which I custom ordered. One is peanut butter, banana, and just a hint of graham cracker, my take on a fried pb and banana sandwich. I love it, although I've noticed the flavors tend to separate, I'll take hits where there is a strong pb flavor, and others where the banana is strong. I made a second which was an attempt at the old Mtn Dew Pitch black, 30% sour grape with 70% mountain dew, it is mostly a grape flavor, good but not what I was hoping for. A third was clove (the max amount was 30%), absinthe, and espresso...I knew it would be great or horrid...honestly it is somewhere between.

I'm guessing the mellow caramel will be best blended with a tobacco. The pomegranate sounds interesting

I'm really enjoying my new e-cig and cutting down dramatically on regular cigarettes.

Is it the automatic (cartridge) style or manual (the kind you fill with "juice")? Mem, automatic and manual does not refer to that. That's disposable and refillable cartridge/tank types, respectively. Automatic and Manual refer to battery operation. And Automatic ecig powers on when you puff on it; a manual uses a direct manual control for the power (i.e. usually a button, but I've heard of a manual spring loaded switch one, but I've not seen it). The advantage of an automatic is you don't have to "find" the button to use it, just puff on it. The disadvantage is you don't control when the eCig is "on". A strong wind can easily turn it "on" and you loose all your juice/burn the atomizer/waste the charge. Manual batteries have the same risk, but something has to be pressing the button for it to happen (like something in your pocket...) or holding in the down position (like a lanyard ring-style holder I have that can hold the button down via friction when I screw the cartridge all the way down).

Well then to clarify I fill it with Juice AND it's Manual. If you press the button 5 times quickly on mine you can power it on or off, so no need to worry about it getting stuck 'on' and burning out or wasting juice.
