The weather is warm, though sometimes rainy. The dogwoods are in bloom, as are the cherry blossoms, violets, chickweed, and daffodils. The grass grows a bit green each day. Actually it needs to be mowed. Boo. Now that is the not nice part.

Move here and you won't have to worry about mowing the grass because there's nothing to water it with.

BD, may I suggest you hire a minion or a college student. They often work for beer and food.

Hmmm.....but WUD if there is nothing to water it with......how will my flowers grow? How is life going? Are you married yet? PS minions should work for free....lol Maybe I could convince WUD to mow my lawn since he apparently doesn't have one.

Maybe. Tell him how much fun it is to mow your lawn.

Not yet, at least I don't think so. We're still trying to figure out how we can do it with the least amount of planning or effort. My parents said they'd pitch in a bunch of money for the wedding and related things so we want to keep it cheap and spend as much of it as we can on a fancy honeymoon instead.
I wouldn't be any good at mowing a lawn. Never done it before and would probably end up lawnmowing my foot instead of the grass.

That is the best way to go! That is what I told both my kids, take the money and spend it on a great honeymoon, take an amazing trip somewhere or spend it on the down payment for a house. I don't see a point in crazy expensive weddings. It's whats in your heart that matters, simple ceremonies are so sweet.
I think you should come try it out before you say that. You might be a lawn mowing genius and not even know it! *nods*

Autumn is here! My toes are freezing, the house is colder than a glacier in the morning and I sincerely hope my husbands apple pie cider is going to brew properly.

Keep an eye on your fb sidebar advertising....I am sure they will! LOL
Autumn is my most favorite season, but that cold does sound more like winter.
Creepy FB thing, I was PMing with someone and lo and behold the next day my FB adds showed the exact thing we were talking about. Total privacy invaders on that site. Actually I think they just have bots that comb through looking for keywords but still.

The winters and autumns are not usually that bad, but we live in a house without heating and insulation... last night the cat slept with a blanket. It was chilly alright. I may also be colder because I have lost a lot of insulation myself. *pats belly* Less blubber means I get colder more easily.

Nope. Old house. No heating, no insulation... heck, the doors have a 1 cm gap between it and the floor. I'm lucky the place has hot water considering the fact that you have to leave the house to reach the toilet. XD Thanks! 15+ kg so far!

Actually I think they just have bots that comb through looking for keywords but still. I feel the same way about Google. One day I'll text someone about something and then I'll check my Google Now app and it suggests it. Of course it's possible that I googled whatever the thing was and that's why they're telling me about it but I use their app for texts so it wouldn't surprise me if the robots scan it.

Down 20 kilos and I never felt better.
Also... I have made peace with the fact that everyone is always "watching". Here Google, this is my heart rate, here Samsung, these are my sleeping patterns. (Yup, got a GearFit. Have spies with me always. I am part Google now)
