What did you have for Thanksgiving dinner? We enjoyed salad, potroast w/ veggies, buttered rolls and pecan pie. Yum.

It was more of a lunch but mostly turkey and stuffing for me. Also pie. There was other stuff too but I don't care about that.

hmmm hubby and MIL made: turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade noodles and bread, pecan & pumpkin pie, green beans, and SIL brought some type of cake and sweet potato mash up thingie, and I think there was some other type of veggies but since I was ill at home not sure..... But we had a lot of family coming in that we normally don't, and hubby brought home a good size plate for me later in the day. Been with this family for 30yrs but still just slightly miss the spread my folks would do......  |

thanks! Do feel better....and it was kind nice just to have a silent day with my familiars and not hearing a whole lot of just.....stuff! shudders the matriarch and her daughter just look for drama every day so I really did not miss it at all! hahahaha
Now we shall see what all happens as we get near the Christmas Dinner and see whether I need to get 'sick' again! winks

ahhhh success...missed another day of soap opera drama and still got the goodies to eat afterwards! Both of my kids came by after they left grandmas for a few minutes to check on me so it was a really nice QUIET Christmas....awesome actually!
sending a belated slice of warm triple chocolate sheet cake to go with the drink up above from Peonysunday to you, WokeUpDead...and loads of energy to at this time.
And to you as well Osean hopefully you have some sunlight where your at to help as well....
We have had only 2 days here this entire month that has not been totally layered in clouds. Has made hubby kinda grumpy he needs his sunlight. ROFL
Cant believe its only days away from 2015! shakes head...Time is building up steam like a runaway train......Brightest Blessings to all as we head into the New Year!

Haha. I had two slices of normal toast for lunch yesterday with coffee. I had a busy day. XD I wonder if I could make vegan friendly french toast. Hmm... coconut cream + corn starch could sub for the egg perhaps?
