“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it's true I'm here, and I'm just as strange as you.”Is anyone else an admirer of Frida Kahlo's paintings? Which one is your favourite? How does her art make you feel?

I like Frida Kahlo as a person, as a feminist and as an artist. she had a difficult and painful life due to illness and injury and pain was never far away from her artwork, as in this;- Without Hope This his her most disturbing of many self portraits which often focused on her struggles and loneliness (despite a husband and many lovers of both sexes).

I love her Flower Basket painting. It is truly beautiful. I am not a big fan of her self portraits.
