Any suggestions as to how we can get more people to post more frequently?
There was a lot of enthusiasm for this place when it began, especially from ex MWers, and I think that enthusiasm was genuine and is still there... But it isn't really translating into posts. Is there anything more we could be doing to liven things up here in the forum? Are we going in the right direction? Are we missing something?

from what I gathered on this place. it was supposed to be a temporarily place until MW goes back up. I doubt MW will ever come back. as it is over a year since it went down. so it looks like people just signed up waiting to get official word that MW will be back.
what I think is needed is this: is this place an extension of MW or a separate entity altogether. also I have seen a few people post on FB that they have a loyalty to MW and are still waiting for it to come back. not sure if it is true or not . or if it was an outlier

Well.. other forums I frequent are also suffering from a similar affliction. I blame social media. that is part of it. but a lot of people will not go on social media like FB. also I am noticing a lot of people are blocking a lot of people on FB. as well as people sending out those reports on personal attacks or pics. so right now I see it dwindling. also it depends on what happened with the forum. as there infights among members.

i don't actually like the groups on facebook. they are hard to follow. the forum format is much more organized. i hope there is a way to keep this from going away

There is, oonagh: by spreading the word of our existence. I just noticed the @anonywicks Instagram account has 600 followers. That means that almost every day, 600 people have a chance of finding our board. If you are active on social media, please consider sharing a link to this place every now and then.

I noticed when I google pagan messageboards/forums, I can't even find this place in the search engines. I wonder if it would be at all helpful to ping the website, I know that more frequently used for blog, but it couldn't hurt to try it. Or maybe advertise it on witchvox or other sites that have lists of forums? I will try to re-post more from allpaths on twitter. Maybe you could also start a Allpaths pinterest account? That one still seems very popular.

Thank you for your suggestions!
Yes, a Pinterest account and retweeting will help. If anyone here feels like mamaging the Pinterest account, you are welcome to. Otherwise I will do it.
Unfortunately I can't manually add the board to the search engines due to new restrictions. Proboards has its own ways to make our board visible in search engines.

I am not sure if you can add a forum as a business account, but if you could and are able to verify it, then it would add the website to the pinterest account. I don't think anyone but you could do that part. Also with pinterest, you can make boards group boards and add people to allow them to post. If the people on here who are active in both follow and get added to the group boards then we could all add things and share in keeping it active.
