I've tried changing my email settings from public to anything else and it keeps defaulting to public. I prefer to have it restricted to registered members or just staff. Is this a glitch that can be fixed or a global setting?

I'm pretty sure this can be changed in the privacy section. You can change it so only registered members see it or just staff (or friends & staff). If it helps, I looked on your profile and it isn't showing.

I have tried repeatedly to change it and it keeps defaulting back to public, which is why I posted here. I've been able to customize all my other settings.

Hmm strange. I just looked again and it's now showing. Hopefully one of the mods will pop in and figure it out.
Edit: I just noticed mine does that too but if you have your profile set to members only will it still show I wonder?

I'm not entirely sure about that. The TBC pro-board allows me to change it on their forum. As there is private messaging I prefer to restrict my email as much as possible. The email I use for boards has actually stayed fairly clear of spam over the years because of it. I prefer to keep it that way

I'll check. It may just be a glitch.

It is a glitch. The change is saved, but the dropdown always shows the default option. I checked your profile while I was logged out: I couldn't see your e-mail address. I will contact our host and see if this can be corrected.
