I keep seeing ads that say I should eat this to lose weight. I don't want to click on the ads, but I would like to know what the heck this thing is. Does anyone know?

Maybe some kind of fruit? lol Hopefully not an egg sack from some terrifying sea creature.

Does Google Image search help?

Someone else finally found it through a google image search. (I tried to do that earlier, but it didn't work for me.) It's apparently a citrus fruit from Australia called a finger lime. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citrus_australasica

...And you are expected to eat it? I don't now. It looks like it may hatch and grow inside me until the monster rips from my guts and kills me.
No more cake before bed for me.

Well, the thing in the picture is just a citrus fruit that's becoming popular as a gourmet garnish and has nothing to do with weight loss. Apparently the ad is for an entirely different fruit that looks much less appetizing and also causes liver damage. jsbookreader.blogspot.com/2013/10/mysterious-superfruit-2.html

Hey, liver failure is a way to lose weight. In death you are reduced to just bone. Guess it's technically a weight loss solution....

You know, I think your right!! I am pretty sure we don't need all those squishy gooey gross guts. Great way to lose weight, just toss all that useless junk!
