The quote function does not seem to be working properly. When I try to use it the persons text disappears.
ETA Both the quoted text and the reply seem to disappear; and not only from my posts.

Edited: But don't hold me to it, I am just assuming. Mainly because that is the only post I have a problem with. I don't know what he did with with that quote reply.

I had a problem a few days ago trying to quote Cassie. With mine, it came up showing my reply as being part of Cassie's comment and I had no way to show it as being my comment and not hers.

The easiest way to make sure you don't have this problem is to click on the tab at the bottom of the reply text box labled "BBCode". Make sure your reply is OUTSIDE the close tag of the quote ("[/quote]"). If you perfer, you can go into your profile > edit profile > settings, and set BBCode as the default (towards the bottom).

With that post I do believe it was my fault, I tried editing the quoted part and that may have caused the problem. With that said eldricdragonsbone offers great advice. I do wonder if we could set up the quote function to default for the forum as bbcode, as that may make things a bit easier. Perhaps Xentor would have a better answer on this.

Ah. Now it makes sense. I'll have a look. I don't remember having seen such an option.

Sorry, I have not found something that appears to change this behaviour. I did however activate a new plug-in. It is possible that this plug-in causes the glitches. I will deactivate it.
