I have no clue where to put this, if I need to post it else where please let me know.
Ok so my question is how does one reconnect with ones self spiritual and physical self after a trauma and the healing work is underway for a lot of areas, but for others it is not going so well ? I have been struggling with a few things this past month and I am not sure I can go into details, but I could use some help or suggestions as to what I can do.

Right here is a fine place, if you don't mind your post being seen by the public.

Attending a reiki circle might be nice.
Or ask a shaman to do a soul retrieval for you, if it's really bad.
Just a couple of thoughts...

Not knowing specifics I'll give you an either or answer (and no, I don't need specifics!!)
Depending on the severity of the issue I'm going through I'll either cling to my faith ferociously or I have to completely let go of it entirely. Not that I don't believe in it anymore, but I just need to become as grounded and HERE as much as possible to get through that particular issue. Once things start to smooth out I'll feel my spirituality "practices" creeping back in when the time is ready.
That's just me though. Hugs for your tough time ♥

For me spiritual (spiritual for me means of the mind) and physical well being and healing is usually helped along by calming through the senses. Specific scents, visuals, touch, taste and sounds soothe and help me reach a more grounded state of mind where I can look at things objectively and without judgement to then let go of it. Such a thing, for me, can be accomplished by lighting my favourite incense, grab a cup of Jasmine tea, play classical music while painting on a canvas with my favourite colours. It lets me get in touch with my body and my mind and connect them so they can get along and work through the trauma through creativity.

Both Sacred and Graphite have said it better than I ever could.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I have actually been working on grounding and yesterday spent four hours in a park where I was able to work with elements, and do energy work with a friend which was a nice wake up call. Working with the Also on a group on facebook someone mentioned to me about Cognitive assistance to help me with grounding so I am going to give it a try. I have also been doing things like lighting incense and just simple things for myself that I have not been able to do for awhile along with cleansing myself and my home. As for painting I am actually gearing up to do some paintings as part of my healing work, but I am procrastinating I think I am scared at what it may bring to me, same with my writing.

Thanks for the link, from what another person said it sounds like it would be something of use to me.
