The previous version of this software had a rather unpleasant glitch: it would let anonymous guests read anyone's posts whose profile was publicly available. Including supposedly private posts.
The current version of the software (the one which we're using), doesn't seem to sport this glitch. However, to avoid future encounters of the same kind: specify who can see our profile. If you set it to "Members Only", anonymous guests will be unable to access your profile, thereby avoiding the issue altogether.
