Then again my current characters are probably not much better. Zooey Scarlett Kate
Tristan Ash Luke
Maybe it's a good thing I had my husband's influence when naming our children.

For me it was Lina and Lira. Boys... hmm. I didn't have a lot of boys in my writing. I may have to go back and look at it again, because for the life of me... I can't remember what I used. Yeah, I think most of my favourites came from characters from VC Andrews novels.

I loved those... read them way, way, WAY younger than I should have though. My current are... Sophira Nathaniel Tobias Emma I cheated though. I used a steampunk name generator to find some I liked, because I was failing miserably.

I used a steampunk name generator to find some I liked, because I was failing miserably. I go back and re-read them from time to time. I read Flowers in the Attic when I was in the eighth grade, after borrowing it from my high school library. Figured out pretty quickly why my mum didn't want me reading VC Andrews. Ah, Steampunk. As hard as I try I just can't do the genre justice. And, there is no cheating when it comes to names. I glean from real life ALL the time.

Erotica huh? Did not pick you for the type, strangely enough. That's to be expected. I choose what side of me I show where, to whom, and in what quantity.

Duh. I'm such an oeuf at times. Of course my work has been published. I'm a functional and technical designer, as well as a translator. I have written many a functional and technical documentation, including user documentation, for all the kinds of software my various clients needed. Such publications aren't world-wide, but definitely publications, too. As a translator, I have translated large parts of web articles into various languages (primarily English - French - German to Dutch, and Dutch to English), as well as the news paper for my former employer (Dutch to English). One of the nicest ones is my translation of Isaac Bonewitz' cult detection analysis. Here's Isaac's original version in English: www.neopagan.net/ABCDEF.htmlAnd here is my Dutch translation: www.neopagan.net/ABCDEF_Dutch.html

I wish I could write. I have such a strong sense of writing correctly that it bothers me when people don't. And actually cringe when I see the way some people do. Plus I have ideas. Lots of ideas. I just don't know how to start. Well, I have had a couple of articles "published" in the company paper. Does that count?

I am a writer, I have had some poetry work published in two Canadian anthologies and many other publications. I have also written for several magazines and newspapers. As for Camp Nano did it in April, seriously lagging this month. I am also getting my poetry book and a novel published later this year or at least that is the plan. Wasn't aware you were published. Congrats. I love anthologies. I have had six stories published that way. Cool and thanks Boy do not get me started on Camp Nano .....

I am a recreational writer, mostly drama related things in fiction, and I have been known to write poetry.
Right now I am busy with the art business, thinking about combining the two eventually, and also have my mother on my back to start getting manuscripts together and send to publishers. Which is ridiculous. I don't even think she has read anything I have written since primary school.
But yeah, I love writing. Articles, debate entries, essays, fiction, poetry... words amaze me just as much as visual arts.
