#6 Some less serious stuff. layout is ok.nice try. makethe outlines of the hair thicker. and the lower portion of the person's chin thicker to add depth to it. also the shoulders and arms as well.

I paint as well, this one is called "Wasting Afternoon", for my reason. I worked with a palette limited to three colours and let my mind take me where it needed to go. The three colours were Yellow, Orange Yellow and Chinese White. All in acrylics on an A4 sized canvas pad.

This is my latest style of painting. I no longer have this painting as my aunt from Sweden bought it from me the same day I let my family see it.

ok with the last three pieces of art. I like the first one. it has a lot of mood to it. second one is ok. you are getting better.
third one is interesting. also I believe the first time I ever saw you do abstract art.

I had a tendency towards more realistic works, now, however... I am doing a lot of painting of the third kind. And they have all found homes out in the world so far... well... all but one.
And thanks.

the more realistic aspect can make you live comfortably if you really apply to it. unfortunately or fortunately for the abstract stuff you could end up a billionaire if you have the right connections and hit it off with those people. I remember years ago when I was in Will Eisner's classroom I told him someone had pieces in the local art store for 25,000 each. so he asked how much was the highest paid abstract artist. so I told him the highest paid artist got 3-4 BILLION dollars for their work. so he said he got into the wrong profession. so If you can survive off it go for it. especially if you make over 100K USD/106546 AUD a year off it. and of course that doesn't start right away (I am saying this for people who no little of the art profession who might see these posts.).

Nice work Mina, and I agree your work is improving. Is there anywhere local you could put on a little exhibition?
